Air marshal shoots, kills crazed Colombian airline passenger, keeps cable news guessing

Six words for you: CNN's correspondents are full of crap.
"We have BREAKING news.... we are BREAKING THE NEWS...  a Colombian passenger aboard an American Airlines flight coming into Miami was shot and killed by a U.S. Air Marshal, after the man claimed he had a bomb in his bag and ran down the jetway. He was ordered to drop his bags and get on the ground, but instead reached inside his carry-on, at which point the marshal shot him. We have just learned the man has died..."
As the TV screen flashed with the same three-minute stock footage taken just an hour before of the AA jet on the tarmac, on and on went the CNN reporter, while speaking with some kind of correspondent (who they claimed was a former TSA or air marshal person, or someone that knew something about what went down). The correspondent was hypothesizing about a wide number of reasons why the passenger did what he did and was later shot.
"We just don't know what was going on in this guy's head. It's highly possible he was a Medellin terrorist on business from the cartel. This kind of thing happens all the time. He announced he had a bomb and was immediately confronted by several air marshals. Terrorists frequently work the Medellin region. It's easy to come and go..." blah blah blah this guy went.
Suddenly, the CNN reporter said, "Oh, wait... I'm just getting a message in, an email from one of my sources... she's saying there was no bomb in the carry-on bag..."

The correspondent on the phone then said, "It's strange what this guy was trying to do...."
"Sorry, I'm getting more info in... stand by...", the reporter cut him off.... "Okay, we now know the man was just a passenger who was having a fight with his wife... he was threatening to pull out a bomb and blow it up... the wife was chasing him... the air marshal challenged the man and shot when he didn't comply..."
The correspondent was quiet for a few moments, and then said:
"Well, we just don't know what was going on in this guy's head... maybe he was acting out because he didn't take his drugs, or maybe was mentally deranged..."
OR maybe, he was just wanting to leave you idiots guessing as to the real reason why he did what he did. He knew you'd be all too quick to start spraying your brainless words and assorted crap at us readers, and if you didn't do it fast enough, then MSNBC or God forbid, Fox, might beat you to it.

But to change the story so quickly? From terrorist to mental patient? Do you honestly have *any* clue as to what you're talking about? I doubt it... otherwise you'd not be spending your afternoon on the phone with a cable news program... you'd BE ON THE SHOW itself or better, HAVE your own show, or better yet, BE TOO BUSY to appear on the show because you were writing your own book, or maybe just DOING YOUR JOB because this time of day, most professionals are employed.

I rest my case. Brainless space filler. A note to CNN: Next time, don't bother with that goon of a correspondent. I'd rather sit through a 20-minute infomercial about Enzyte penis enlargement or Sweep-Away brooms.
